I plan on being at Mossy the week starting Sunday evening August 10th for the week. All Hotzes and extended family are welcome to come down during this week. Give me a heads up if you plan to so that I can let you know if you need to bring a tent in case the cabin fills up. Even if all beds are taken & you need to camp, the cabin icebox, stoves, porch, and facilities can be shared by all. I also think the new island just up from the boat dock would be  great place to camp and fish and it's less than a five minute paddle to get there. I think several tents could be pitched at this location without a problem. The gravel bar island did not go to far above the water when I observed it this past weekend, so I would be cautious if any rains are predicted upstream from Mossy. It does have plenty of level ground though to camp on and a great place to swim. There was no summer water cress growing in the river like there usually is.
